Fly-In Fishing Testimonials
We would like to thank everyone for the great notes. Keep 'em coming! We read them on our slow days to remind us why we try so hard to keep our camps in order, our fishing resources well-managed and our whole operation in top shape. The old Guest Book has become a thing of the past but we keep it handy. We'd love for you to send us your fly-in fishing fond memories. We'll get them up on the web sites somewhere in a hurry. Tell us like it is because we want to keep doing things better each year. Our entire crew appreciates that you understand the work involved in giving you some of the best Fly-in Fishing, Moose Hunting and Bear Hunting trips in Canada.

July 2007. Chappa lake " Hi Billy, Thanks again for another fantastic holiday. Although the weather could have been warmer all in all it was great. Talk to ya' soon " Peter and Darlene.

Darlene is happy with her success at pike and pickerel fishing. We couldn't help to notice that she is sporting purple finger nails this year; a nice touch in the James Bay frontier.

July 2006. We had a great time at Chappa back in June, caught lots of fish. On the first day we went over to find i-Fred and fished the beaver pond thinking it was what we were looking for only caught a couple of northerns. Billy docked for our mid-week flight check on Wednesday and told us that that lake wasn't any bigger then one of his appendages. We went to the wrong place. A little hesitant, we went back that afternoon to the real ifred Lake and caught over 100 walleye with the largest one in the boat at 27 inches. We also caught several Northerns with the largest being around 32 inches. We had a couple of cold nights ( down in the 30's ) at the end of the week. The fishing slowed down a little on both lakes, but we still figure the five of us caught 300 to 400 fish for the week.

Stripped Bass Fishing in Georgia
Great testimonial Tim. We just had to show that great stripped bass picture you caught in Georgia. Why don't you enter our Fishing Contest for next year if you want and win yourself another lasting James Bay Frontier fishing trip memory.

Hello, Billy! On a whim, I looked up your name and found your web site. I'm thrilled to see you're still up and running. You really should have a picture of the Beaver on your website. I think it was my fondest memory of my trips and, I think, the icon of what Polar Bear Outfitters was all about.
While I realize the flyin fishing trips I took ( Skip, Ted, Corky and me from Buffalo in 1992 and 1994 ) are a distant memory to you, I will always remember them as being 2 of the best vacations I've ever taken. To this day, I recall catching 140 fish, downing 19 cases of beer and bottles of gin, surviving the big storm, seeing the moose and the caribou, crossing the 4 beaver dams to the 4th lake, etc. etc. OK, maybe you will remember us.
Unfortunately, all of my pics are of the film variety, otherwise, I'd send a few to add to your collection. I have long since moved to Atlanta, but I recently suggested the guys get together to take another trip into the Great White North. I guess we'll see. I am sending one of me with a stripped bass from Lake Lanier, here in Georgia. No, I don't expect you to post it on your web site.
Thanks for the memories! Here's to you! Tim

Billy, just to let you know that Ron and I had another great week of fishing this year. Bounce Lake is one of the best lakes we have been on in the 15 years we have been coming up there. I caught the largest Walleye ever ( 7lbs 12oz ). Ron had a double hit, with a large pike hitting the Walleye he had on the line. We nearly landed both as the pike was not willing to let the Walleye go. Caught lots of fish all week, lots to eat and lots thrown back for next year. Thanks again and see you next year.

Want to say thanks for the great trip we had at Stringer. You are becoming an icon with our family here in West Virginia. Anytime someone mentions fishing your name is immediately brought up. I especially appreciate all the consideration you have shown my brother Keith ... being able to take his sons with him gave him an opportunity of a lifetime. On behalf of all of us here in WV thanks again for providing us a terrific vacation.

Great pike fishing. Beautiful territory. Caught more fish than we could count. Pike are ferocious - it was a war. Billy and crew are the best.

Waller Lake ( formerly Twin Lake ). We had a super time, fishing was unbelievable, accommodations and the flights were good and on time. I have done a lot of fishing but enjoyed this trip the best of any. We caught our limits and "No More". We have decided to come back again. Thank you very much!

Great Fishing once again as usual. Billy couldn't have been better to us. A great guy, that's why we return year after year. I feel honored Billy named Lake Madison after my daughter who was conceived at Whales Head! Thanks for everything Billy!
