We thought we'd give you an inside look into our bear hunting operation. Other tree stand construction, hunter updates and any records are being uploaded daily as this season wears on. Rod Henderson and his son Brian are finalizing their bait site preparations before exiting. We have just enough stands for our hunters this year. We are expecting a record harvest hopefully even better than our Ontario fall bear hunt last year.

It can be hard work, building tree stands and clearing trails into the bear sites. Each must be re-baited daily. The bears are never far away so shotguns are needed for protection. Brian wanted to do a northern Ontario Canada punk rocker imitation using tree moss as hair and a moustache.
